I just checked the calendar (Holiday Schedule) on the news page.
When exactly is mid-May?
How do you code the Dance with Me button?
Did the event already happen?
I wasn't here every day...

5. Nope! June. :D and it lasts a few weeks at least. If you’re here at all during that time, you won’t miss it.

just to add to what mentioned, although the schedule says "mid May" the average date for Masquerade starting is actually May 26th, so it's usually later in the month than we'd assume ;)
